The American Red Cross is the premiere volunteer organization in the world. The Red cross is not a government agency and is funded and staffed mainly by volunteers. Here in the mid Michigan area Disaster action team volunteers respond to a fire every three days in the five county area. As you can see, we depend heavily on your time and financial support to help us reach our goals.
